hey, we’re the Moores

Most people have this grandiose idea of love,

but we are all about the simple, beautiful things–take me to the grocery store and hold my hand, surprise me with my favorite snack, make me laugh until tears roll down my cheeks.

We fell in love at Youth Group in 2009. Can you even believe that 15 + 16 year olds are allowed to feel those feelings? Andy asked me out on his Dad’s birthday  after I drove him home in the car my parents paid for. Young love feels a little silly looking back as a 31 year old. That’s right, we have been together for almost half of our lives. By the time we turned 20 we tied the knot with all of the elegance of 2013: baby’s breath bouquets, flower crowns, and a coral and gray color scheme. Let us not forget that we were also in our TOMS shoes era. Now, after shooting hundreds of gorgeous weddings, there are definitely things that I would change aesthetically about our wedding day, but man, I would do it again and again just to marry Andy: bottled coke and all.

We’ve grown from teenagers, to adults, to parents and what a joy it has been to learn more about each other in each and every season. And now we feel lucky to be able to cheer on so many couples as they grow from season to season because the truth is – your wedding day isn’t the finish line, it’s just the beginning. So let your wedding photos help tell your story when you’re old and gray. Because these photos, your photos, should last.

  • Emily is passionate, cheerful, encouraging, + creative (sometimes messy).

She can make friends with anyone she meets. She’s a great listener + always has a shoulder to lean on if talking isn’t your thing.

She loves making art + dreaming about her next project. You might also find her rewatching her favorite shows or reading about the enneagram.

She always brightens my day, loves to help, and if she’s reading this she’s probably crying.

  • Andy is smart, witty, kind hearted, + loyal.

He is a collector of knowledge + shares everything he knows with anyone who asks. Seriously, he’s a smart dude.

He loves hazy IPA’s, sours, but will gladly try any beer. He can’t resist a french fry + makes a fancy cup of coffee every morning.

He keeps me grounded, mows the lawn, + knows me better than anyone in the entire world.
